Backbends (Livestream) 4.16.2022
It's all about backbends in today's workout. We move a lot in the beginning of class, running through a backbend focused sequence a few times, each time going a little deeper. Then we switch gears, balancing on one leg in Eagle and then taking it into Warrior Three. From there we hold a few of the poses we moved through earlier in class, opening our shoulders and quads, as well as our backs.
As you make your way through class, keep in mind that in 99% of poses, the energy moves up the front of the body and down the back. This is especially true for backbends. So always chest up, shoulders down. Enjoy!
