Weights (Livestream) 4.26.2022
In this Livestream Workout we take the focus back to Yoga with Weights. We start things off in Child's Pose, our start of choice for April, taking a moment to slow things down, quieting our minds, and finding our breath.
Then we preview a few poses and sequences WITHOUT weights, getting these shapes in our body before adding resistance.
From there we dive in with the weights, first building off our Sun Salutation warmup, adding both Crescent Pose & a Twist. From there we switch gears and move into a Reverse Warrior, Extended Side Angle, Half Moon & Triangle series.
Then we dive into our core as well as a pigeon or headstand ending, yogi's choice! This class builds quickly, with each pose and sequence leading to the next. Perfect for building strength.
